    Thanks for the interview. The closest I’ve come to being a writer is doing short stories and poetry as a hobby, so it’s interesting to learn about the creative process of professionals.

    I’m fascinated by the possibility that we may soon have a movie focusing on the more complicated elements of King David’s life. His arc is one of my favorite stories in the bible, but there are some pretty disturbing elements throughout. I don’t think I have seen much attention given to the less heroic, more human parts of his story.
