I re-watched this with my wife the other day cause it’s a movie she really enjoys. Having just listened to this episode your issues with it were on my mind.

One of the things that struck me though was about the depiction by Bullock of Tuohy. This is a very different kind of Christian in movies Often Christians end up being either incredibly moralist or are corrupt. There aren’t many people shown who are level-headed rational people who still have a basis in faith like the two of yourselves. Are there movies you think portray Christians this way or what are your favourite Christian portrayals?

Sorry I never responded to this. We actually are planning on doing an episode about the way Christians are depicted in film. We will discuss both the ones we like, and the ones we don’t.
